Founded as The Feinberg Law Group, LLC in 2002 by David Feinberg, a veteran of Cravath, Swaine & Moore and Foley Hoag LLP, Feinberg Hanson LLP is a boutique corporate law firm, specializing in starting and financing businesses and in general corporate law, with practice areas ranging from corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions to licensing, strategic partnerships, fund formation, securities matters, executive employment and dispute resolution matters.
Since its formation, Feinberg Hanson has grown from two to ten attorneys ranging in experience from 1st year associates to 35-year veterans of big firm practice. We have represented our company-side clients in well over $500 million in private placements to leading venture capital investors, including Accel Partners, American Capital, Bain Capital, Bank of America, Bessemer Venture Partners, Bridgescale Partners, Commonwealth Capital, FirstMark Capital, General Catalyst Partners, GSR Ventures, Highland Capital Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, NEA Ventures, North Bridge Venture Partners, Oak Investment Partners, Prism Venture Partners, RRE Ventures, Sequoia Capital, Softbank Venture Partners, VantagePoint Venture Partners, Venrock and numerous other firms, as well as to private investors. We have also represented numerous clients in connection with merger and acquisition transactions ranging in value from a few million dollars to over $600 million.
